Description
Carboxymethyl starch (CMS) are ionic starch that are obtained from modification of native starches. It is a cold water soluble starch that are widely used in industrial application such as printing thickener, it was synthesized by carboxymethylation reaction with acid-hydrolyzed of native starch and chloroacetic acid(MCA).
